Henna – References

The BEST way to educate yourself about HENNA, check out www.hennapage.com . This is the LARGEST and most comprehensive henna webpage on the planet Earth…compiled over a lifetime by Catherine Cartwright-Jones.

You’ll see webpages with FREE Henna patterns, Step-by-step pages of HOW TO HENNA, HOW TO MAKE HENNA, WHERE TO BUY HENNA, HOW TO ROLL A CONE, HOW TO APPLY HENNA, is the MOST AWESOME henna page on the whole planet!

I strongly recommend YOU purchase prepared henna when you are first learning to do henna yourself.
If you buy henna from a Mediterranean grocery store or a local book store, the henna will most likely be very old and will not have been stored properly (put in the freezer) and you will not get good results from your purchase.

Henna is also used on the hair to give it fullness and a red-tint.

To make henna paste to make Henna or Mehndi, the henna powder must be FRESH and in my experience you’ll get great results from buying pre-made henna from any of these suppliers (ALL are henna artists)

http://ww.hennatribel.com for other henna sisters, artists, suppliers and you’ll be introduced to other the Henna Tribe Gallery, Forum where you’ll learn what products they sell, classes /workshops they offer…all good stuff!
